Another Portland-made beer product looks set to follow the lead of uKeg and make a serious splash with its Kickstarter campaign.
North Drinkware seeks $15,000 to start production on their cool Mt. Hood pint glasses, and with 30 days to go, they've already raised twice that amount and are a Kickstarter Staff Pick.
The company is made up of three friends -- designer Matt Capozzi, designer and production guy Nic Ramirez and marketer Leigh Capozzi -- with more than 30 years combined professional product design, engineering, and marketing experience. They live and work in Portland and explore the mountains, coast, trails and rivers as much as possible.
They set out to design and produce a truly Oregon-centric beer glass and they've succeeded admirably. It's a great idea and looks to be beautifully made -- I'm eager to try my first pint in one of their glasses.
