MAC DRE’S MOTHER CREDITS DRAKE WITH INSPIRING GETTING THE LATE RAPPER’S DOCUMENTARY DONE

A new documentary about the late Mac Dre has been officially released and the Bay Area legend’s mother credits Drake with inspiring her to get it made.

In an interview with AllHipHop.com, “Mac Wanda” Salvatto states that a conversation with the OVO frontman helped her realize the importance of keeping her son’s legacy alive.

“I met with Drake in San Francisco, we sat down and he talked with me about how Mac Dre impacted his life and his career, what he’s doing and the big impact that Mac Dre had when Drake was a young boy,” Salvattto says. “So listening to that, it kind of opened up my eyes that maybe I do need to do this. If Andre was alive he would definitely be capitalizing and making as much money as he could.”

Street fighter turned professional history steroid use passes away mystery medical emergency.

Mixed martial artist and UFC fighter Kimbo Slice has died at the age of 42, multiple sources have confirmed. 

Slice, who was born in the Bahamas as Kevin Ferguson and rose to fame through street fighting videos on YouTube, was hospitalized in Coral Springs, Florida on Monday for undisclosed reasons.

His cause of death has not been released, although police said there was no foul play involved.

Slipknot's Corey Taylor needs a disc replaced and additional work on his vertebrae

Corey Taylor says that he had broken his neck "without realizing it" following last-minute spinal surgery over the weekend.

The vocalist announced last week that Slipknot would push back the launch of their North American tour with Marilyn Manson.

He's currently recovering from the operation, adding that he had to have a disc replaced and needed some additional work on his vertebrae.

He says: "I basically broke my neck a while back and didn't realize it. I had to have disc replaced and work on vertebrae. Those first shows will be rescheduled for August."

Corey Taylor also addressed rumors about his health, adding: "Enough with the conspiracy theories. I quit smoking because I wanted to.

"I had emergency surgery because shit came up during my physical. Calm down."

The tour, which was originally to kick off in West Valley City in Utah on June 9, has been postponed until June 28 in Nashville. The first 12 shows have been rescheduled for August. More details will be revealed in due course.

Slipknot are scheduled to appear at Ozzfest Meets Knotfest in September alongside Black Sabbath.

Meanwhile, Slipknot's Clown has released the first clip from his upcoming movie, Officer Downe.

So that's what these movies "look like" to this basic AI. I assume if we were to hook video cameras up to an AI as eyes, this might be what the world would "look" like to the AI? 

It looks dreamy, doesn't it? Almost like what I'd imagine a newborn baby would first see after emerging from the womb.

LAFF 2016 Interview with Kim Coates on the Extreme Mayhem of OFFICER DOWNE

Celebrating its world premiere this weekend at the 2016 Los Angeles Film Festival is the graphic novel adaptation Officer Downe, which was written by Joe Casey (who also wrote the source material) and directed by M. Shawn Crahan, (also known to fans worldwide as “Clown” from Slipknot). The film stars Kim Coates as the titular character: a badass cop unable to die and Los Angeles’ last form of protection from a corrupt future world.

Produced by Mark Neveldine and Skip Williamson, two of the maniacs behind theCrank series, Officer Downe looks to be a balls-to-the-wall actioner that takes no prisoners (pun absolutely intended).

Daily Dead caught up with Coates prior to the film’s premiere to hear more about his experiences taking on the lead role for Officer Downe, collaborating with Crahan on the film, why the world needs more badass movies, and the virtues of playing an immortal character.

Regretfully, I'm sending this to our fans to inform you that we will be postponing the first couple of weeks of our upcoming U.S tour. Unfortunately, I had to undergo an unplanned spinal surgery. I am recovering nicely, and all went well! I need a little recovery time before hitting the stage. We will start the summer tour in Nashville on 6/28 and continue as previously scheduled. An update on the rescheduled dates will be available in the next few days. I hope you all understand and thanks for always having my back!
